Trend Alert….GOLD! Really?!?!

They say all trends are cyclical…who knew that GOLD was making a come back!

We feel this color needs special care, we saw someone wearing gold the other day and it looked so elegant.

More times than not it looks garish and gaudy…unless that is the look you are going for be carful with gold.

Be bold and have fun!

fUnKy fUn FrIdAy…not your typical wreath

Ever stopped to think why we have and use wreaths?

Here’s a little history for you…In Roman times, wreaths were used as an adornment that could represent a person’s occupation, rank, their achievements and status.  In Christianity, wreaths are used to prepare for the advent season.  But to most of us, they are used as a festive decoration.

Here are a few that are not your typical wreath….can you figure out which ones are edible?!

We are so proud to support  this event and the people that are making the change in our lives!  Be there… or miss out on one of the best parties benefiting the Nevada’s Aid Project… helping to keep money local and focused on making our community healthier.

Artistry at it’s Finest…Brett Wesley Gallery

The Brett Wesley Gallery…changing the way Las Vegas views art!  We are so lucky to have such a great visionary as our neighbor.

One thing that Las Vegas is in need of …. more original art!  Brett is working hard to make this happen and we as a community need to support and honor this great space.

Vegas has iconic culture that has defined us like no other place.  We also change like no other place and our art and venues should reflect this.

There is a great Gallery in the 18b Arts District that is bringing this wonderful change to our city.

Let’s support this wonderful place!

Grand Thank You!

Thank you for coming out to support us on Thursday night.  We had a spectacular time sharing our new space with each of you!

We would also like to thank the local artists who helped up to share “Art in All Forms.”

Two neighbors, gallery owner Brett Wesley, in collaboration with established and emerging artists, provided original paintings and Tunay Studio across the street joined in the festivities by giving an impromptu dance routine.

Other local artisans included: Phillips Collection, who provided artwork in the form of sculpture.  Local floral designer, Katherine Null of Enchanted Florist, provided atypical creative arrangements.  Chef Erik Perkins of A Matter of Taste provided exquisitely plated appetizers. Jewelry designer and artist, Jessica Galindo introduced guests to her newly released Glitteratti and Leather Couture Collection.

We would like to thank all those who joined us for this special evening.  Now back to business…
