In our research we have found some great Design that pushes the boundaries of art.

Spanish, and French Designers seem to be pushing the envelope of modern design while maintaining warmth.

The French love the use of color mixed in traditional style; take a look at the Gilt restaurant in NYC.

The ability to create a modern style while maintaining warmth is key!

Some of the elements that we love is the warmth and modern that  Spanish are doing well.

The Design Angels are shining down!

In my journey to the City of Las Vegas building and safety Dept., I found out that we are on Hallowed Grounds and our space was a church at some point.

A very appropriately named church Cosmopolitan Community Church (as I am sure that a cosmo or two will be enjoyed here)

I have always wanted to renovate a church. We are on holy grounds and are creating a Design sanctuary with the help of Jill’s Design angels.

Las Vegas Art Community is an exciting place to be and this is where we belong!

And we have a place to call home.

She is beautiful and is in need of some love.

We are full of so full of passion and love that she will be restored to her glory!

We are looking forward to sharing our journey of transformation along the way…

MIRRORS, MIRRORS,MIRRORS!

Mirrors…When hanging a mirror, consider it’s reflection in the room. A piece of art or nice view works, but a blank wall, heating vent, or bathroom doesn’t. We used mirror mosaics on this kitchen ceiling and LOVE how it came out. We loved this use of lots of mirrors during market.

The Phillipe Starck juicer is beautiful design as well as practical!

He started a “best young designer” program and Roland Kreiter won with his homage to to Phillipe.

Eyes are on Scandinavian design so we could not leave them out.
The clean and simple lines of  this pair of salad mixes is elegant and practical.

BRC Designs is the vision of Benjamin Rollins Caldwell his Designs is a great example of what is going on with design right now.
It is a mixture of old and new that is the true essence of “green”. He is an alchemist that takes these base materials and creates something precious and relevant.
Our favorite example is the spider collection. He reuses zippers… one would think that it would ruin clothes, but the texture and feel is comfortable and unusual.
